Discipline 02: Structure

Walls that hold their ground.

Structural engineering dressed in stone: walls that tame a slope, stop erosion, and hand you back the yard you have been mowing around.

The discipline

A wall is a promise. We engineer it kept.

A retaining wall does real work: it carries the weight of the earth behind it, every day, through every freeze. Built casually, it bulges within a few winters. Built properly, with an engineered base, geogrid reinforcement where the height demands it and hidden drainage behind the face, it simply stands there, plumb, for decades.

And while it works, it earns its keep visually: terraces where a slope used to be, seat walls around the fire, planting beds at exactly the right height. We build in segmental block or natural stone, capped and finished so the engineering disappears into the landscape.

What’s included

Every detail, priced in.

Every TNT wall is quoted as a complete system, subgrade to final sweep. The number you sign is the number you pay.

  • Site, slope & load assessment
  • Engineered base sized to wall height
  • Segmental block or natural stone construction
  • Geogrid reinforcement where required
  • Hidden drainage & clean-stone backfill
  • Integrated steps, caps & seat walls

Why it lasts

Built once. Built right.

Built to the load

Base depth, block and reinforcement are sized to the actual soil and height, not a guess.

Drains behind the face

Water pressure is what fails walls. Ours never gets the chance to build up.

Land you can use

A slope becomes terraces, gardens and gathering space with real square footage.
